Merline Saintil is head of operations for the office of the CTO at Intuit. She is an international technology executive, business advisor and operations expert, having distinguished herself as a leader in fast growing sectors of cloud computing, mobile, online payments and commerce. In her current role, she brings her wealth of experience to drive operational rigor and excellence to Intuit’s technology efforts. She was previously the head of global engineering operations for mobile and emerging products at Yahoo, where she was part of their massive platform shift to mobile. She has been involved in the process of creating software as well as managing global teams to produce world-class products in a variety of positions at Sun Microsystems, Adobe, PayPal and Joyent, Inc. She serves on the alumni board of directors at Carnegie Mellon University and was the former president of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter for Carnegie Mellon University. Saintil earned a B.S. in computer science from Florida A&M University, Summa Cum Laude. She also attended Stanford University where she completed an executive education program in management science and engineering. She also earned an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University. Business Insider recently recognized her as #6 of the 22 Most Powerful Women Engineers in the World.
