About Dan Sharoni

Dan Sharoni is a Principal Consultant and UX-focused thought leader with Prosumer Mobility.  In this role, Dan consults, advices and lead teams at enterprises, startup and non-profits on conceiving/harvesting innovative ideas, assessing their marketability and road-mapping their products to financial success.

Dan has a rare confluence of business vision and technology know-how and qualifications as Technical Product Management professional with a M.Sc. in Technology Commercialization degree from University of Texas, Red McCombs Graduate School of Business.  Dan practices Agile methodologies and is Certified Scrum Master from cPrime Training Center.

Dan is a software (SW) professional with 15+ years in SW Engineering leadership, management and creativity as hands-on developer, lead architect, program manager, product manager and executive at enterprises such as Accenture Tech Labs, HP, IBM and Adobe and at public startups such as mySimon and IXYS.

Prior to re-starting Prosumer Mobility Consulting, Dan spent one year as a Program Manager, Enterprise Mobility, Global Mobile at Dell Inc.  During that period, Dan also earned hisM.Sc. in Technology Commercialization.

Before joining Dell, Inc. in 2011, Dan worked for 10 years for a diverse range of organizations, including small business startups; large enterprises, in the private sector; non-profits and government agencies.

Dan helps individual entrepreneurs, large enterprise entrepreneurs and foreign innovators to build products and services to solve real life client pain while focusing on outstanding UX for the client, with client feedback and through continuous improvement, while creating wealth in the process.

Dan is passionate about the wave of innovation Apple inspired with their mobile devices in so many industries, global markets and social networks – giving all the FREEDOM to live, create and prosper, Dan provides consulting services that help keep the momentum in giving life to innovative new ideas.

Notable accomplishments:

  • Two mobile security patents in the BYOD space.
  • Numerous public speaking opportunities such as in ACM SIGGRAPH, PPPJ and JavaOne.
  • Achieved 16% conversion rate of Fortune 500 companies in the early era of enterprise mobility space in 2008.
  • Dan is a pilot by avocation, a steady hand under pressure.
