About Craig Dixon
Craig Dixon leads Business Development at The Chronicle of Higher Education. In his role at The Chronicle, Craig is the company’s first Business Development professional. Since joining The Chronicle, Craig has executed several partnerships (e.g., j.mp/PAVitae
) and has experience with strategic and revenue producing deals.
Prior to The Chronicle, Craig was a Director on Blackboard’s Corporate Business Development team and focused on all of Blackboard’s education and services platforms. Prior to Blackboard, Craig worked primarily in the payments industry at PayPal, BillMeLater, First Annapolis Consulting, American Express (Establishment Services) and Citigroup (Global Investment Bank FIG) in strategy, corporate development, and business development. He started his career as an application developer in Merrill Lynch’s renown Technology Leadership Development Program and worked in Merrill’s Global Banking Group.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Boston University. Also, he received a Masters of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth where he was a Center of Digital Strategies Fellow. Craig is an avid entrepreneur, advisor, and angel investor.
